Laboratory of mathematical methods of analysis

Stanislav Arsentyevich Sudakov is the head of laboratory of mathematical methods of data processing, candidate of technical sciences. He upheld his PhD's thesis in 1969. His scientific interests involve classification of multidimensional data, recognition of patterns, cluster analysis, identification procedure of monomeric correlation, multidimensional scaling, processing of matrixes of the “object x feature”-type in psychology and psychiatry. He published about 40 scientific works.

The laboratory has been included into the Centre's structure since 1998. It was transformed from the former laboratory of “Mathematical analysis of medico-biological and epidemiological studies performed on electronic computer”.

The laboratory is staffed with 2 research fellows and 4 programmers.

Scope of research activities of the Laboratory:

1. Participation in the scientific substantiation for various divisions of the MHRC RAMS by means of mathematics; development and selection of respective new programs.

2. Assistance in processing of research data at various stages of studies.

3. Consultations on methods of mathematical analysis.
